I recently watched a movie called "Hector and the Search for Happiness". It was an interesting story about a psychologist who went on a quest to find what makes people happy. If you are a musical theater lover like me, it is pretty much the equivalent to the story of "Pippin". Hector travels to different countries, meets lots of interesting people and figures out what makes him happy. The ending is pretty special so I won't give it away. Here are a few of the quotes I loved from the movie...
"Happiness is being loved for who you are."
"Avoiding unhappiness, is not the road to happiness."
"Listening is loving."
I also loved that watching Hector go through his trials, made me reflect on what makes me happy (big and small): my family, friends, faith, travel, helping/connecting people, exploring new things/places, watching the sunset (cotton candy sky makes me grin ear-to-ear), clean sheets, beets, old movie musicals (especially when there is tap dancing), playing games, listening to people talk about what makes them tick, outdoor concerts, singing in the car and more. Hopefully this movie will help you reflect on your own happiness as well.

*** If you didn't see the documentary "Happy" that came out in 2011, I'd suggest that as well.
